Dear First Graders, 
        Wow!  April is already a memory.  May is here and flowers are beginning to bloom.  May brings nicer weather, hopefully, and outdoor recess more regularly.  May 18th is our all day Fun and Fitness Day - a day of outdoor activity and fun sponsored by the PTA and Mrs. Melillo.  While the 3rd and 4th graders are taking their important tests, we will be helping by working quietly and not disturbing them.  At the end of the month we will have a few days off to celebrate Memorial Day.  Our study of animals will continue this month as we learn about how and where animals live, eat, and protect themselves.
